Born and raised in Terceira island, in the middle of the Atlantic, Maria's passion for music started at a very young age. Influenced by a huge family of singers and musicians, Maria stepped on stage for the very first time when she was just 10 years old, alongside the band Extreme. Cut to 3 years later, she started doing both acoustic & rock cover gigs with her dad, Luís, all throughout the Azores, the Portuguese mainland and the United States. In 2015 she started working on her original music, performing the songs live until she released her self-titled debut album in 2020.
