Behind Pumuky are the brothers Jaír and Noé Ramírez, originally from Icod de los Vinos, Tenerife. Despite a somewhat accidental crossing, with multiple line-up changes, they have released, to date, eight record references. They accumulate a long history of concerts in Europe and Latin America, with presence in festivals such as Primavera Sound or NRMAL (Mexico). They have been highlighted in media such as Rockdelux, REMEZCLA or Radio 3. Their latest work, Castillo Interior (Keroxen 2020), was selected by Bandcamp in its New & Notable highlights section. This release featured a series of remixes from artists such like Xiu, Jimmy Tamborello (Dntel, The Postal Service), Somos La Herencia, David Cordero and El Hijo. Rare bird, with difficulty fitting into labels and scenes, Pumuky writes songs as if they were doing escapism tricks.
